We’re working on the next new feature release for UpStream.

This is the most requested feature from UpStream users: the ability to create projects from the frontend of UpStream.

We released UpStream 1.17.0 today. You can grab a copy from WordPress.org or you can update from the “Plugins” area of your site.

There are also new releases for three add-ons:

• Project Timeline: 1.0.17
• Frontend Edit: 1.5.5
• Calendar View: 1.0.8

Lots of developers love using WordPress.

One the big advantages of WordPress is that you get lots of features out-of-the-box. WordPress gives you a login system, comments, a text editor, a media library others.

An UpStream user emailed us this week with an interesting question:

Is it possible to show different WordPress themes on different pages?

UpStream 1.15 is available, and it has much more powerful filters on the frontend and admin side of projects.

We’ve been working on developing UpStream for a year, and have learned a lot of lessons from you … the UpStream users. One important lesson is that many users have a lot of projects and tasks. Some UpStream users have 100’s of projects, each with 100’s of tasks.

Over the last couple of weeks several users have been using UpStream on their multisite networks.

These users were kind enough to report some bugs and improvements. So we’ve just released version 1.14.1 of UpStream with several multisite changes.
