This extension allow you to collect all sorts of extra information for your projects, milestones, tasks, bugs, and files.
The Custom Fields extension is a very important tool for gathering accurate details on all your projects.
For example, in a web design project, the bugs can have fields for the browser type, PHP version, and screen size:
The current version of Custom Fields supports 11 field types:
- Radio buttons
- Dropdowns
- Checkboxes
- File uploads
- Text boxes
- Color pickers
- Tags
- Categories
- Autoincrement
- User
- Country
Add fields to any part of your projects
Custom Fields can be added to Projects, Milestones, Tasks, Bug, and Files. As you create the fields, you’ll be able to apply them to different areas of your site, as in the image below:
These fields can also be used anywhere you’re interacting with an UpStream project. By default, Custom Fields are used in the WordPress admin area. They can also be used on the front of your site, using the Frontend Edit extension.
